Motichoor Ladoo Parathas

I had some leftover motichoor ladoos ( store bought ones ), and I wanted to make something with it,other than eating it as such. I have already tried a pudding with ladoo and bread, it tasted really good, this time I saw a couple of other dishes that we can make with them and I decided to make these Motichoor Ladoo Parathas. The parathas turned out so flavorful and very delicious, you can have it as such, or dust it with some powdered sugar and enjoy..

Need To Have

  • Whole Wheat Flour/Atta - 1 cup
  • Motichoor Ladoos - 4 big ones
  • Oil - 3 teaspoons
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Ghee for toasting the parathas
Original Recipe here

Method

Mix the oil with the flour along with the salt, then adding some water make a soft dough, apply some ghee and leave it for 20 to 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, divide the dough into six portions, break the ladoos and divide into six portions too.

Now take a ball of dough, roll it slightly, place the ladoo inside, close it and make a smooth ball one more time. Then dusting with some flour, roll it out as thin as possible, taking care that the filling doesn't come out.

Heat a pan, place the rolled out parathas,  then applying some ghee, cook it on both sides till you get golden brown spots. Serve it warm, dusted with some powdered sugar.

Note
The parathas are not too sweet, that's why I have served it with some powdered sugar dusted on top.
Motichoor Ladoos is a sweet made with besan flour/gram flour, you can use both homemade or store bought ones.
